Jill Ginsberg, MD, Co-Investigator; Self-Management Education for Childhood Cancer Survivors

Jill Ginsberg, MD, is Co-Investigator on the UPenn PRC Self-Management for Childhood Cancer Survivors Project. Dr. Ginsberg is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she is also the Director of the Cancer Survivorship Program. Dr. Ginsberg is trained in pediatric hematology and oncology and has developed an expertise in the clinical care of pediatric cancer survivors.

Over the last 15 years her research has focused on the late complications of pediatric cancer therapy. Dr. Ginsberg is a nationally recognized expert in the field of childhood cancer survivorship. Overseeing the growth of the clinical and research program, she has managed a large portfolio of clinical trials. In particular, Dr. Ginsberg has established a novel program in fertility preservation for children and young adults undergoing chemotherapy. Dr. Ginsberg has completed several important clinical research projects, and continues many others, through strong internal and national collaborations.
