DBEI Research Day – Cancelled

March 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Despite our robust knowledge base and big investments, the U.S. lags behind other developed nations in many health outcomes. How can we move our population science research from potential to real health improvement? Keynoter, Sue Curry, PhD, shares her insights on March 18,1:30 p.m., at Penn’s Biomedical Research Building, 421 Curie Blvd. “Population Health: Making Science Matter,” this year’s Brian L. Strom Professorship Lecture, is a highlight of this third annual event. The full program, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will also showcase highlights of the latest work by our faculty, students and trainees.

***Cancelled*** We write with a special message for our faculty, staff and students. Most of you have probably seen the message the University Provost sent out earlier this morning, with a series of increased restrictions due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus. Consistent with these restrictions, we are cancelling next week’s Research Day. We deeply appreciate all of the extensive preparations for this event undertaken by faculty, students and staff, and hope to reschedule Research Day in the fall.
