Chyke Doubeni, MD, FRCS, MPH, Internal Advisory Board

Chyke A. Doubeni is a member of the UPenn PRC Internal Advisory Board, Co-Investigator on the UPenn PRC Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network Center, and Co-Investigator on the Philadelphia Health Leadership Institute. Dr. Doubeni is a clinical epidemiologist and health services researcher with primary research interests in colorectal cancer mortality disparities, and in the comparative effectiveness of screening tests. He is board certified in both family medicine and in general preventive medicine.

Dr. Doubeni's research interests are in establishing a program of research in colorectal cancer prevention that spans from basic to implementation science and policy, and he has been supported by the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health since 2004.

Dr. Doubeni is Presidential Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania where he currently serves as the Chair for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. He is a Senior Scholar in the Penn Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and a Senior Fellow in both the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and the Center for Public Health Initiatives.
